Dear ADSA members,

We would like to give you an update of the following events regarding the 2010 ADSA Annual Conference in San Francisco, this July 30th, 2010:

Conference agenda- Please see the preliminary program the planning committee has prepared (attached). This year the program highlights include:
•Working lunch tables. At Saturday's lunch, participants will be able to sit at tables according to their research interest area. If you have a "Kinney's Three Paragraphs" of a research idea, please feel free to bring it to the lunch. You might find yourself seated with a potential co-author of your next publication!
•Editors panel. Every-other year the ADSA conference features this panel. Bring all the questions you always wanted to ask an editor of an accounting journal.
•Research tools. This year we combined the Introduction to Research Tools and the Advanced Tools concurrent sessions in response to feedback from last year's attendees. In order to familiarize yourself with the topic being discussed in this session, it is suggested that you read the journal article published by the speaker, Dr. Molly Mercer (attached). In addition to other topics, Dr. Mercer will discuss how to conduct financial archival research with a behavioral perspective.
•Award for best paper. The membership will decide on the best paper presented at the conference. The winner will receive an award certificate at the PhD Project dinner.
